# Your Kingdom

As a player in CryptoBlades: Kingdoms, players start from a small, single node village with the ability to expand their empire. After a week or two an efficient village will be able to [recruit missionaries](/cryptoblades-kingdoms/the-world/villages/buildings.md#church) to further expand their reach.
